How do I Make Beats for pop music?
I am a singer and a guitarist. I might have to give up guitar to take vocal lessons due to finacal reason and I want to have a way to make music for my lyrics. How do I make beats or backround music for my ltrics? (i am a pop/rock musician)
you use a program called a sequencer.
popular sequencers are:
Logic (Mac), Cubase, Pro Tools, Abelton, Sonar, Nuendo, Traction
you will need plugins like drum machines, soft synths, samplers (VSTi) Native Instruments, Waves and Steinberg make some very good plugins.
