Sonar Music Software
I been reading about Audition, Sound Forge, Wave labs and Sonar.
I’m really liking these programs, but i want some feed back about these softwares and which one is truly the best out of the 4 in your opinion.
Are those the only big dogs on the market or could anyone else recommend another for me?
Money is not an issue so I could careless about what is cheaper. I want the BEST of the BEST software to make music and VOCALS with the most functionality, ease of use and stability possible. Any suggestions?
By the way, could any of you suggest any hardware to go along with the software that you might recommend(Mic, Piano)?

Software For Recording and adding midi, the easiest i ever use is Cakewalk-Sonar, I’m using Sonar 6 right now, as i type this…
Software for writing part/score and also could sound it by midi, the best that i use is Sybelius. I’m using Sybelius 4.
Software for sound editing, i use Cool Edit Pro 2, but anything was almost the same as this.
For a good quality recording, you would need to have a good sound card.
If you’re recording vocal, ofcourse a good microphone needed, i suggest Shure.
If you’re recording guitar, you would need a good cable, i would suggest not to use any effect (unless you’re really sure about the sound quality). Use a software called GuitarRig to add sound effect to the recorded guitar.
You can also use keyboard with a midi out-put, i would suggest Senheisser.
Then you would need a good speaker (i suggest JBL) and/or headphone (i suggest Senheisser) for monitoring…
And as you said that you don’t mind the price, i give you the best…
