What Laptop/Computer should I buy?
I’m a 14 yr old girl living in London and saving up to buy a Laptop or Computer. I’m also a budding composer and I am really eager to get Sibelius Student which is a piece of Composing software compatible with windows and apple which costs approx. £113. My Mum has said that if I save up to buy a laptop or comp then she will buy Sibelius Student for me. I’m looking for a machine that is up to date and nothing too basic as I am quite knowledgable about handling computers. I prefer apple over windows, but my whole personal life and school life is revolved around windows, I’m looking to get a windows comp [as much as it pains me =P]. Something with a high ram is also good.
What Laptop/Computer would suit me and my life style? As for budget, I don’t really mind how expensive it is but max. £1,200. I don’t mind putting as much effort and money as I need into to this.

yes, get a mac and use bootcamp to install windows. I have a macbook that I dual boot bet OS X and XP and I have a virtual machine on the OS X partition running XP.
